Flare ups with hips

The last two days ive had a flare up. Worst joints are my hips which id making me walk differently and in turn made my back muscles spasum all the way up to my neck. The pain at some points is unbearable does anyone have any suggestions iam on mxt and pred.

Thanks beverley, unfortuently i live in aust. They have no suport things here and this is the only forum that i have found with honest answers about RA. Iam taking panadine (paracetamol/ codine) when the pain gets too bad. Hoping it will.settle in the next few days.

Yes thank you i have just read it and doing most of the things sugested. This is such ahorrible disease i find it hardest on my mind trying to get around the pain and come to terms with the fact my life is changing and i cant do things i once did.

We speak to many people on the helpline Keryn and coming to terms with it is something we come across all the time. It is a horrible disease but hopefully you will get the right level of treatment soon to help you manage it. Take care,
