had my ultrasound scan on Friday on my had and the lady who did it said there was no inflammation which in a way is good news but still no idea what is causing the pain and swelling in my hand the picture is from a flare up I had a few weeks ago which is why the rheumy sent me for the scan

At least you have had the scan. Hopefully your rheumy can now find out what is going on with your hand.
yeah just a waiting game for appointments now and its 1 thing they can cross off the list of what it could be
