Please find details below of the NRAS Group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 10th April 2017

Great Yarmouth NRAS Group

The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month (January-November). Meetings will sometimes alternate between a guest speaker and social meetings, please see below for details:

Tuesday 11th April - Guest speaker: Sarah Small, Occupational Therapist at James Paget Hospital

Lincoln NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings for this group are held at The Ark, Moor Lane, North Hykeham, LN6 9AB on the second Tuesday of every other month from 7:00-9:00pm.

11th April - Meet up and chat support meeting. All welcome.

Banbury NRAS Group

The Banbury NRAS Group meet bi-monthly on a Wednesday in the Training Room of the Horton Hospital, Oxford Road, Banbury, OX16 9AL from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

12th April - Guest speaker Professor Peter Taylor will present: 'what is new in treatments for RA?'. Plus NRAS Founder and CEO Ailsa Bosworth will be in attendance as it will be Specialist Nurse, Maureen Cox's last meeting with the

Banbury group before she moves on to a new job role.

North Hampshire & Winchester NRAS Group

The following dates for group meetings are to be held at Central 40, Chineham Park, Basingstoke RG24 8WG on a Wednesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm. For a site map of Chineham Business Park or for a local area map of where the

12th April - Guest speaker: Maria Monaghan, Claimant Champion from ATOS will be talking about the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) process and take any and all questions

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group

Meetings are held in Conference Room 1 at The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 7DX monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

12th April - Group discussion on the various benefits available to those on PIP and with a blue badge (i.e. money off vouchers, cheaper travel, reduced memberships etc.)

West Suffolk NRAS Group

The West Suffolk NRAS group meet every other month on a Thursday at Southgate Community Centre, Caie Walk, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 2PJ (for sat nav please use postcode: IP33 2QA - parking available on site) from 6:45pm-8:15pm.

13th April - A social evening with crafty demonstration

Preston & District NRAS Group

The Preston and District NRAS group meet in the Reception area at the Minerva Health Centre, Lowthorpe Road, Deepdale, Preston, PR1 6SB. Evening meetings take place throughout the year on a Thursday from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

13th April - 'Rheumatoid arthritis: what’s it all about and how do we manage?' to be presented by Dr MacPhie, Rheumatology Consultant

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!

Hi there

There is a group that meets in Glasgow about once a month, they last had a meeting on 30th March. Details can be found on our website here: nras.org.uk/groups/greater-... and we have just launched a group in Tayside (Dundee) and we are currently working with the Volunteers to plan future meetings, information on this group will be updated on our website here: nras.org.uk/groups/tayside-...
