I currently get pip which is awarded until August 2018 when I will be 64 but do I apply again for pip as you can't get attendance allowance until you are 65 which will be another 9 months , regards Lynn

PIP carries on after you are 65....you would only apply for attendance allowance if you were not already on PIP. No doubt a brown envelope will plop through your letter box well before your present award runs out, and you will once more experience the joys of assessment!!
So no need to worry, and hopefully your present award will be continued. M x
Oh I see I thought pip finished at 64 & I thought I would then have to apply for attendance allowance , I now get esa and pip so I get help with the interest on my mortgage but originally my pip was going to end in November 2017 but I received a letter saying it was extended to August 2018 , regards Lynn
