Have understood that mtx may cause gallstones especially in woman over 60 who have been on the med 1-2 years and are taking folic acid. So I would imagine it could have an effect on the flares.
Thank you it is my niece that's taking meth and she has had gallstone operation when she was 15 now at 36 just lately diagnosed with RA. After talking meth has now pain in her right side.
