Occupational Health
This looks ideal popsmith1874 ,no more struggling to perform a simple daily task.
If its anything like me with the shower I am beginning to hate it - its more like torture these days
Enjoy your moment - but you mustnt stay in too long or you will get all pink and wrinkly.........

Crikey! Have you passed your test to operate that contraption?
Which way round do you sit on it?
I'd probably fall off & drown!
I' m very glad you are happy with it. I just looked at it & it amused me imagining me trying to get on to it!
The last time I had a bath I thought I was never going to scramble out...luckily I have a walk in shower now so I can wash my hair at the same time as bathing!
It has been a boon these last months as there was no way I could have got in to a bath with my broken arm..used to be I couldn't get out of a bath ...then with an arm in plaster I couldn't get iN!
Plaster off now..so showering is much easier without wrapping my arm in a plastic sleeve....right performance that was!
Happy ablutions!💦💦💦💦☔️☔️💦💦💦

Those bathlifts are great - I literally cried with joy when I had mine installed a few months ago - with that and my Carecall alarm,I can almost feel normal for half an hour, and it makes such a huge difference too. I actually sent my support worker an email thanking her so much that she had to show her boss.... unless you've been deprived of the basics, you truly can't appreciate it when you get them back. The best bit is that it doesn't leave you breathless when drying yourself off either,as you literally just sit with your legs hanging over the side - I even have to fight my cat to get into mine,as she loves water too,so will quite happily sit on my lap while the remotes moving us up and down😂 The best bit of all though is being able to lie back and just soak for a few minutes - it does wonders for the mind and the body as it soaks all the aches away for a bit!!
Good luck enjoying all your new bits

Yes I know how you feel,we have a shower down stairs but I fell and tore my ligaments 3 weeks ago so this is a god send xxx
Ooh,no - I've never been a fan of showers, and even less so when I had to have one. I'm literally grabbing anything I can to help me stand up as my shower is over the bath,so that left me shattered before I'd even started - but even though I have my bathboard for that,(from my previous back ops..., didn't realise at the time just how much I would use it for other illnesses) but it still limited me to being able to relax like I wanted/needed to. Hope the ligaments heal quickly for you too - it will certainly help knowing that you can actually lie back and have a good soak on them now x
Trying to visualise how this actually works - any more photos? I would LOVE to soak in a bath..............
It's all done remote control and when your in the bath you can put back rest back or forward
Looks good.
I got a bath step and a shower board.
It was great to have a shower without hubby in the house. Forward we go to independence!
