Hi Derek - I hope you are feeling better soon. But keep in mind in regards to the pain that you are better off actually taking a pain med when it first starts rather than waiting until it is intolerable. It is easier for the med to handle...
Hang in in there Derek.....but take the Meds!
They can't help if you don't take them can they?
I know it sometimes feels as if you're giving in if you take every pill under the sun,but you're not...if you are more relaxed by taking the meds they could well work better & you may well need them for less time!
That's the way I look at it...seems to work for me!
Hi derek
Sorry to hear of another bad night. I was sent home from hospital with oramorph and I used it religiously -
I would echo what has been said already, don't wait for the pain, stay on top of it. Having been through this, trust me, it is necessary in order to manage movement and a full, timely recovery.
I do hope you manage some quality rest tonight as it is hard to keep going and remain positive when running on empty.
Good luck
Marie
So sorry to hear about this. Good luck with the next few days.
Hope you feel better very soon Derek. x
