Just thought you'd like to see a pic of Minnie with her little sister(Misty) from this afternoons grooming session at the breeders. Apparently misty was given back after less than a fortnight as apparently the woman was allergic....hmm,and there's us thinking Maltese were bred for allergy sufferers?! Either way,the breeder is extremely happy that she got to keep her(after many panto style arguments with her husband, and guess who won๐?!) It wasn't until today that I realised just how big Minnie had become in the month since I've had her.... she was the biggest of the litter, but didn't look it,and she's at a very healthy weight, but it just looks as though they're from two different litters to me - Misty doesn't even have her teeth through yet,and I can personally vouch that Minnie has๐ Luckily she takes after her dad, which is why her coat is gloriously thick, while her sisters is on the smaller side, but other than that,it was pure pleasure to watch the two sisters and their mum fully run around the front room for a couple of hours - I'm used to seeing Minnie with much bigger dogs,so this was really funny to watch - I didn't get many pics as we were too busy nattering away, but I'm glad we're local to the breeder so that we can nip in if we ever need to,and it's always warm and cosy there too.
Like I said, more of a feelgood story really, but one I needed today - I hope everyone else's day has been pleasant and enjoyable too?!

Oh thank you for the picture. They look adorable. I had a similar sort of day only it was a couple of the grandchildren running around, wrestling and playing. Bit tired now
I'm not doing too bad thanks Mary - still going through a mild flare where my sleep patterns are all over the place, and I'm falling asleep at the drop of a hat, plus I'm so lethargic that I can't be bothered to do anything at the moment either,so everything seems like a real struggle, but I know it'll pass once the bruising on my back comes out properly(I didn't even go Physio last night because of how rough I'd felt all weekend).
And on the plus side,I opened up my cat magazine to find that they've actually printed a picture of my mog in there from where she was climbing ladders in the garden at summer ๐๐ that brightened up my day no end - by the way, did you get all those pics? I wasn't sure if they'd come through or not because of the size of the email, but I hope you did,and I hope they made you smile as much as they did me when I was picking them out for you?!๐ป๐
How's you? Have you got your little furry friend zebedee at all this week? X
I got my blue badge renewal done so quickly I couldn't believe it - all I did was answer a few questions over the phone, send in a new pic,and a copy of my pip entitlement letter, and that was it - no assesment or anything.... so pleased that it's one less thing for me to stress about now ๐ X
njk sorry to hear u not been to good that lethargic feeling is terrible everything seems such a big effort i had zebedee yesterday but i been getting flare up in my hands i am sure this cold weather dosnt help hes coming back monday after i been for blood tests lol i just been over to e mail and i can see where u sent photos but wouldnt let me open it please dont worry i did see lovely photos on this site hope u soon feel better than u do now fancy seeing your mog in a magazine that was a surprise anyway take care lots of rest thank u for trying with photos lv mary xx minnie looking good
Ooh so cute!
I walked my neighbours boxer with my pooch today. It was a bit like being pulled by a couple of cart horses! They compete to see who can get to the park first. Boxers are so strong!!!
I can't believe you're crazy enough to take a collie and a boxer out at the same time.... how are your arms? I know if it were me I'd feel like I'd been hung and drawn from where my joints no longer felt part of me!! You'll have to try and get a pic of shep and one or two of his friends for us to drawl over ๐ X
Sorry, started this 6hrs ago,but just got woken by mog because I'm ontop of the covers again, and realised I never hit 'submit u teply'!!! โ๏ธ๐ค๐ป
Not good - my mum's just had her rotator cuff done for the second time on the right arm(she's had them both done at various times over the years) but it had gotten to the point where it needed doing again as she just won't stop and listen to her body, but carries on ruining it saying 'things need to get done' .... just like most mothers do๐!!
Take care of yourself,I'm sure shep wouldn't have minded a leisurely stroll while you remained seated for a bit?! Xx
Oh so adorable! ๐ I'm doggy broody now. My grumpy middle aged woofster is having a slow post-surgery recovery and I can't even play much with him.
That's how I got when a couple of friends of mine got dogs and I'd been thinking about one for a while - before I knew it I was on the phone to the breeder arranging a viewing for a litter that she hadn't even advertised yet!!! It's a very slippery slope, but a fun one all the same. I hope your poor Wooster makes a whole and speedy recovery xx
