Please find details below of the all the upcoming NRAS group meetings:

NRAS Group Meetings—from 7th January 2017

South Lakeland & District NRAS Group

The South Lakeland and District NRAS Group are currently holding meetings at The Foyer, Prince Charlie's House, 95a Stricklandgate, Kendal, LA9 4RA (parking available across the road). Please see details below for meeting dates and times:

Saturday 7th January 2:30pm-4:30pm - Social get together and a chance to meet and chat over tea, coffee and cakes! There will also be a raffle.

Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group

The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings will sometimes alternate between a guest speaker and social meetings, please see below for details:

Tuesday 10th of January 2017 - Guest speaker: Dr Makkuni, Consultant Rheumatologist at James Paget hospital

Oxford NRAS Group

This group is co-ordinated by Sue with the support of the Rheumatology Team. Meetings are held in the Lecture Theatre at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every other month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm unless otherwise stated. Look for the NRAS direction posters to the room.

10th January - Guest speaker: Dr Cynthia Srikesavan will present - 'SARAH Exercises for Rheumatoid Hands' SARAH: Strengthening And Stretching For Rheumatoid Arthritis of the Hand

North Essex NRAS Group

This group meet on the second Thursday of every other month at the St. John's Church Community Centre, St. John's Close, Colchester, CO4 0HP (parking available on site) from 7:00pm-8:30pm, unless otherwise stated below.

12th January - 'White Elephant Swap: what to do with those unwanted Xmas presents and have fun!' Please just bring an unwanted gift, ready wrapped.

St Helens NRAS Group

Friday 13th January 2017 from 2pm taking place in the Taylor Park Rangers Centre, Taylor Park, Grosvenor Road, St Helens, WA10 3HX

This is a new venue just for the January meeting while changes are made at the Town Hall. There are free car parks at Taylor Park, which is a short walk from bus stops on Prescot Road. There is easy access to the centre, which is the building on the left overlooking the lake.

There will be no speaker at this meeting. Instead, it will be an informal social and planning meeting, so please bring any suggestions for topics for our 2017 meetings and any ideas for social and fundraising events.

Gwent NRAS Group

All future meetings of the Gwent NRAS group will be held on the second Saturday of alternate months at Caerphilly Library, The Tywn, Caerphilly, CF83 1JL from 9:30am. Small amount of parking opposite, with disabled spaces outside the Library. Parking also behind the Castle (an attractive walk round the moat 5-10mins) or by the station (access from Van Road for free spaces).

Mid Somerset NRAS Group

Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU. Please note that some meetings are held on a Saturday morning but most meetings are held on a Tuesday evening. Please see details below for specific dates and times:
