I'm back to my nocturnal posts. Can I ask you if dry itchy rashes on my elbows and knees are something to worry about. I have never suffered from eczema and this has come on in the last week. RA or not Ra related do we think. The danger is to blame it for everything.

So sorry you're not able to sleep. Last year I suffered with insomnia and it drove me crazy!! Thank God it sorted itself out
As for the dry itchy rash, I suggest you ask your doctor. My doctor was looking for rashes on me because my toe nails went funny. Apparently my doctor thinks I might have PSA instead of RA.
I think you'll find that this is due to central heating. I've had the winter rash. For many years off and on. I was once advised to drink more fluid and try using aveena.
Could be psoriasis, but see your doctor, my husband has dry scaly patches on knees and elbows and he has psoriasis. Hope this helps, but do see your GP for the right diagnosis.
Sounds as if it could be PsA get it checked, I've got it,but it's not two bad at the moment. Ask your doc if he will prescribe Balneum cream ,I find it helps to cool down the itch.
