Fillings and Etanercept

Does anyone know if you can have fillings done whilst on Etanercept? ( actually it's Benapali but same thing) Thank you.

Yes you can! I've had a root canal just recently and another in February. No problems with either. Clemmie

Make sure that your dentist knows what treatment you are on and that it impairs your immunity.

Otherwise no problem.

Dentists must have sadistic minds to want to do the things they do, I've seen them smile just as the drill disappears into your mouth and you go @AAAAAAAAAAAAAH, THEN SLIDE DOWN THE CHAIR ON YOUR BUM TO THE FLOOR. But then he/she SHOUGHTS I DIDNT GIVE YOU THE NEEDLES, he then takes the drill out from your eye, and says you didn't see that coming. Next comes that 2 foot syringe heading towards your already dancing teeth and then pushes it 1 foot into your gums only this time you find you are now velcroed to the chair with no ascape.and with a smile he says you can go now, up you get and leave the room and that's when you look at your self in a mirror and scream where have all my teeth gone gone mmmweweeeaaahhhhh.

Yeah cheers for that Phillip. Nothing like a good scare story to put people off going to the dentist. As I am in the dental profession and have made a living making dentures 😂

I'm on enbrel and fillings are ok (having some on Thursday). From what I remember it's having teeth out and root canal treatment that you gave to be careful about.

Good luck. If my teeth are ache i take them out and put them in a cup and ache now if you Bustards. Lol
