Tired π΄ : Does anyone else's symptom return when they... - NRAS
Tired π΄
Absolutely! If I'm tired from overdoing things or lack of sleep I start to get back and hip pain and muscle aches. I'm always better when life is very calm and boring which is a shame!
I agree if i over do it i pay the price for a couple of days. I find that even after a night sleep i wake up tired and achy.. π
I feel my symptoms always feel worse when i am tired/run down. Hugs darling.xxx
Most definitely, on good days I always manage to over do things. I end up tired and sore and paying the price. Take it easy, sending a hug xx
Most definitely worse when tired and stressed but I think the weather plays a part too
RA can be triggered by stress. What is over-tiredness if not a stress?
Yeah - tiredness, cold, stress - lotsa things will bring them back unfortunately..
Thanks for the replies and hugs π I had a really good sleep last night and pleased to say I'm fine today x
Also I've given in amd let the family have the heating on π₯ bye bye roughie toughie northern lass days π€
Hugs x
Wonder if the Eskimo people develop ra and how they cope?
I usually have the same problem. I seem fine until I do a lot of walking or physically changed work. I have to sleep more and sometimes take an Aleve.
I think we are all the same we do too much and pay the price later and the fatigue is like walking through treacle or quick sand and the medication probably plays a big part as well , but the other side off the coin is without the meds we would be unable to do anything
I think it is the other way round. I find that I am tired and fatigued when my RA is active. The tiredness I find is part of a disease flare.
Manchester University is undertaking the following study, Quality of Life, Sleep and Rheumatoid Arthritis Study (QUASAR). they held two informal discussions (focus groups) to ask people with the condition to input before they set in stone how the study will be configured. (I saw the advert too late to be involved at this stage, but will be kept in the loop).
When I saw my consultant last week I mentioned this and she was completely in agreement that stress and tiredness really affect RA. (logically I would say lack of good sleep would affect anyone, but if you already have any LTC it is going to affect you).
