NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 14th November 2016

Three Counties NRAS Group

This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

15th November – There is no such thing as a silly question! What are the questions that the NRAS Helpline answer? Beverley Briggs and Alison Cini from NRAS will be there to help answer any of your RA related questions.

Salford NRAS Group

The Salford NRAS group have a new meeting venue! All meetings now to be held in The Common Room at 15 Springbank, Off Brentwood, Salford, M6 8RH on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

16th November - Tai Chi: gentle exercise for RA, talk followed by a group demo by Kath Foster, Tai Chi Instructor

Blackpool NRAS Group

Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm.

17th November - JUKEBOX JINGLE QUIZ! Join us for our 6th Birthday celebrations with cake, nibbles, grand raffle draw and tombola stall!

East Dorset NRAS Group

The East Dorset group meet socially for coffee from 11am at Stewarts Garden Centre, Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4SA and also Haskins Garden Centre, Longham, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9DG. Upcoming coffee mornings are as follows: 17th November at Haskins.

Plymouth NRAS Group

This group meet monthly on a Thursday in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 12-2pm.

November 17th - Guest speaker: Rachel from Plymouth Options will be running a Mindfulness Workshop

West Middlesex NRAS Group

This group meets at Hillingdon Baptist Church Halls, Patterson Room, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, Middx, UB10 9LS. Meetings run from 2:00pm - 4:00pm bi-monthly on a Thursday.

17th November - Guest speaker: Colin Morris from the Department for Work and Pensions

West Wales NRAS Group

First meeting: Thursday 17th November from 6:30pm - 'Meet, greet and getting to know you' - this first meeting will be an opportunity to get to know one another and find out what you want from the future of the group.

Taking place in the Renal Unit Seminar Room at Withybush General Hospital, Fishguard Rd, Haverfordwest SA61 2PZ (the Renal Unit is just left of the main hospital entrance and the seminar room is sign posted from the entrance).

Yeovil NRAS Group

The Yeovil NRAS group hold coffee mornings once a month from 10:30am-12pm in two locations in Yeovil: Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH and The Gateway Cafe, Addlewell Lane, Yeovil, BA20 1QN. Please see dates below for locations.

St Helens NRAS Group

The group meets every other month in Room 8 at St. Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St. Helens, WA10 1HP from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Friday 18th November 2pm - 'Foot Care' by Zoe Critchley, Advanced Podiatrist, Long Term Conditions

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
