Hi Marathon man lol. Weird that training for an operation is the same as the Olympics!

Have you got a six pack then lol ? I myself have a party pack!

Glad to hear your sticking in , in couch bound after doing too much as usual , but Leeds with the family was lovely . Xx

Allanah darling i really don't know how you manage darling. I went to a local festival and my head was buzzing and i couldn't stand the noise and suffered for it afterwards. Good luck to you darling.xxxxxxxx

Wow!! Just reading your training schedule left me breathless!! Guess that'll teach me not to rest on my laurels with my meagre efforts 😂

Please forgive me for asking, what sort of operation are you having? If you prefer to keep this personal it's ok.

Your commitment is inspiring and I'm sending you lots of good vibes and wishes for a successful outcome for your op.

X

Hi KSee Nice to meet you thank you for your reply, I am on the active list for a double lung transplant which is only a phone call away hopefully as my lung space only allows for one Infection, But i have come to far not to be ready.Matt

Dear Matt

My late husband received a single lung transplant at Harefield Hospital in 2005 but he was never as fit as you prior to his op. You will definitely do well post op.

Praying that you get your phone call ASAP...All the best X

I drink plenty of detox water every day & also eat off a small plate to lose weight. Now have lost 4 stone & I love my fruit waters, drinking about 3 liters a day.

I find that I have no sense of being full up of food when I'm on high dose steroids - I can eat and eat. So I weigh everything. 30g cereal, 50G cheese, etc. and only eat what I have weighed out. I have an well balanced Mediterranean diet, but I just need to keep the amounts under visual control.

Obviously it doesn't help with the fluid retention that is part of the weight increase, but it does help with the balance between input of food and output of energy.

Not what you're looking for?
