People with RA living near Bath needed to help research project
About 1 in 6 people with rheumatoid arthritis use an inhaler, because they also have a lung disease. It is thought that they may find it difficult to use their inhaler correctly, but this has not been properly investigated. However, researchers at the University of Bath are now trying to find out which types of inhaler are best for people with rheumatoid arthritis. They need the help of people with rheumatoid arthritis (who have not used an inhaler before) who live near Bath to visit the university during July or August to try out various placebo inhalers. Participants will be given a £5 gift token to thank them for their time and travel expenses will be paid. To find out more, please contact Dr. Matthew Jones, Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice:
