Well here we are on our last night of our holiday. What a day i have had,my back has been very painful. I got up in agony at 5.30 this morning and it has been very painful all day long. We went to Polperro this morning and what a disappointment that was, half the shops were closed at 10am in the morning. We then went to Looe to get the cream teas to take home and Looe was busy and a lot a people there. W|e came home to the apartment and rested all afternoon and now i am dressed up in the club with my make up on. I am going to try and wear make up when i am out and about.xxxxxxxx

Last night of my holiday........................
Have a safe journey home. Sounds as though you've had a lovely time despite the crowds. We have in NW Scotland despite the midges and early morning aches and pains. We don't get crowds here just the local sheep wandering up and down the lane. Xxx
have a safe journey home, hope your back improves
Safe journey.xx
I know you are just keeping your friends posted on your holiday experiences but you pay reminded me about all the stuff we have to take if we go away by car. (This is partly linked to the post about the contents of the bedside cabinet draw.) I suspect that your nasty increase in back pain is perhaps linked to having to sleep in a strange bed for several nights. If we go away by car, I take a special pillow, an electric heart pad and a single sized down mattress topping - the neatest thing I can get to actually taking my bed with me ( sorry I mean 'nearest') - as well as all my meds of course!
There is something about being ill and not in control of that illness which causes me to take everything I could possibly need to make my surroundings and thus myself more comfortable. Am I alone in this?
