Please find details below of the NRAS group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 6th June 2016

Bolton NRAS Group

This NRAS group is coordinated by NRAS Members with the help and support of Senior Sister Beverley Travers. 2016 meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month (February - December) at Bolton One, Moor Road, Bolton, BL3 5BN from 2.00pm-4.00pm.

7th June - Guest speaker Anna Roberts will provide information about what physical activity opportunities are on offer for people in Bolton, as well as advice around being more active and coping with RA. She will do a home chair based exercise guide for the group and a quiz!

Chesterfield NRAS Group

2016 group meetings will be held at Bridge Street Methodist Church, (also known as Pilsley Methodist Church) Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-8:00pm unless otherwise stated.

7th June - 'Social and Natter' to be held at Sainsburys Chesterfield, Rother Way, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S41 0UB (6.30-8pm as normal) upstairs in the restaurant (lift available). This event includes a Food Taster Night provided by Kerry Hardy at Sainsburys.

Southend-on-Sea NRAS Group

Meetings take place bi-monthly at the Salvation Army Citadel (opposite Morrisons), 146-148 London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2PF on a Tuesday from 2:00-3:30pm.

7th June - Guest speaker Martin Sheppard, Biologics Lead Pharmacist at Southend University Hospital, will present 'Biologic and Biosimilar Medications for RA'

North West NI NRAS Group

The North West NRAS group have arranged their meeting dates for 2016 and will be meeting quarterly on a Tuesday in the Lecture Theatre in the MDEC/Trust HQ building at Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Glenshane Road, Londonderry BT47 6SB (free parking directly outside the Lecture Theatre, for a site map please click here) from 7pm onwards.

7th June - Bronagh Grant, rheumatology nurse specialist will talk about the drugs used to treat RA and the most common side effects

Banbury NRAS Group

The Banbury NRAS Group meet bi-monthly on a Wednesday in the Training Room of the Horton Hospital, Oxford Road, Banbury, OX16 9AL from 6:30pm-8:00pm, unless otherwise stated.

June 8th - Guest speaker: Dr. Lorraine O'Neill, Consultant Rheumatologist

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group

This group have a new meeting location! Meetings are now held in Conference Room 1 at The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 7DX monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (unless otherwise stated).

June 8th - Alex Stephens from Positive Step will be talking about the services they offer on mental health issues

West Suffolk NRAS Group

The West Suffolk NRAS group meet every other month on a Thursday at Southgate Community Centre, Caie Walk, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 2PJ (for sat nav please use postcode: IP33 2QA - parking available on site) from 6:45pm-8:15pm.

9th June - Annya Stoddart from Wisdom Mind will be demonstrating and talking about acupuncture and managing fatigue
