I need Advice on taking steroids after a steroid injection please.

I had two steroid injections in my knees yesterday, they already feel wonderful. When I awoke after sleeping all night I realised my normal aches and pains weren't there. I also realised as I tried to focus on the clock my eyes were slightly out of focus, even when I put my glasses on. They have improved now. I am wondering if I would still take my same dose of steroid this morning or if I will over dose. If anyone knows can you let me know please? Thank you.

Best to check with dr or pharmacist. Perhaps it depends on how much you take

I carry on my normal dosage have never been told otherwise but I only take a holding dosage of 5mg.max 10 mg. By view would be the injections do not last forever so therefore stopping the oral would not be beneficial.

But as Cathy says check it out you could ring the pharmacist or 111 just for advice.

Good news you having a good night's sleep.
