Goodness, you do look great :) As you are having unexplained weight loss I would go see your doctor to check that everything is fine. Hopefully it will be, then you can just enjoy being slim.

If this is as you are now I don't think you've much to be concerned about! You've a nice covering over your clavicle, shoulders & arms. However if it was taken a while ago & you're much slimmer yet not changed your diet & still have a healthy appetite I'd mention it to your Rheumy. Any dramatic weight loss should be investigated, it could be a thyroid problem or even hormonal, it could be attributed to any number of things but should be questioned at least. Has your Rheumy nurse not commented when she weighs you before appointments?

In the early months of RD I found I lost quite a bit of weight which I couldn't really afford to lose but I levelled out. In the past couple of years I've put a little weight on round my tum but I'm sure that's due to not getting the daily exercise I had through gardening. I used to garden pretty much year round but I have such a small one now in comparison to the one I left behind, as result I've less muscle tone too so rather than the garden being my exercise I 'do' exercise!

Thank you and yes my Rheumy is quite concerned. I have always been small except for after I quite smoking. I gained a lot of weight. So at the beginning I was thrilled with the loss but now it is to much. I am certain that stress plays a significant role. Hopefully when I sell the store and my other business that will improve. Clearly this illness has completely altered every aspect of my life and that of my family. My children, all adults now, have been awesome as has my spouse. The problem is friends and my sister. But life is always filled with challenge. I am a master at adapt and overcome. This situation is no exception. I feel for the young people I encounter. It breaks my heart. They have so many issues and a lifetime of pain to face.

Unfortunately there was no diet or action plan. In the beginning I thought it was my work schedule but it has continued while I have been unable to walk and now have no inflammation it looks worse. I will try to send,a current photo. Clothing size for here is a double zero. I will need to shop in children's department soon lol at least no tax.
