YOU GO GIRL FRIEND!!! WHOOP WHOOP
Thank you all very much indeed. I really appreciate your support as i was so scared to tell people i was having this op in case i got negative comments. There was only one person who thought i should try slimming world as she has lost weight with this group. She is losing weight and i am happy for her.
Anyway THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Love you all.xxxx
Sylvi, I just had to respond to your reply about the fear of telling people about your operation...How dare anyone respond negatively to losing wieght by having an operation!!!! Being overwieght is extremely hard on your body and your emotional health. Making fun of people who are overwieght still seems to be "politically correct" even in 2015.
Having the operation is not the easy "fix". The operation is risky and the recovery period is painful and still holds some risk.
I lost 30 pounds a 10 years ago by dieting and my friend had an operation for weightloss...I'm not proud to admit that I've gained back 20 pounds, though I can eat what I want without fear of pain. My friend lost just under 100 pounds. Her life is now controlled by how much she is eating, what she is eating and when she has to eat....She is terified of eating anything that is greasy, or fatty because she will suffer with stomach pains and diarhea. She is forced to eat on a strick regiment everyday of her life now.
The point of this story is that having the wieghtloss operation is no quick fix. Anyone who says it is really needs to give their head a shake.
I wish you the best,
Sue
Thank you Sue for your comments your right in everything you say. Apart from one person who wasn't critical as such she just felt it was drastic and inshould try the slimming club she has lost weight with. I have been to most slimming clubs over the years and yes i lost weight, but could never keep it off. Also i have been on steroids for years which didn't help my weight loss, now since my op i have been off them as they only gave me essential drugs i needed for my ra/fibro and i haven't had them since and that is three since. Thank you for your support darling i really appreciate it.xxxxxx
Good for you. Tell the world about your op it will encourage others to go the same way. We have all been to slimming clubs & lost weight only to put it all back on again over the years and added more besides. We need a sustainable diet that can work for life to keep us slimmer.
Does anyone on here do the AUTO IMMUNE PALEO DIET?
Wow what a star!!!
Wow, well done you x
love the hair, looking good young lady xx
Well done, you are doing great.
AWESOME!! Keep up the great work. You are doing wonderfully!!
We'll done looking great xxx
You're shrinking before our eyes!! You look great, Sylvi. Loving the pose. Are you feeling any better pain-wise? I only ask because I have lost nearly 4 and 1/2 stone but can't say it has made any difference to my pain, although I'm sure less pressure on my joints is good.
I am suffering more from fatigue than pain, there is some pain in my hands though nothing to what i was in before the op. The pressure of my knees has been eased by the losss of weight.xxx
