Zoledronate infusion

Had my yearly Zoledronate infusion (for osteoporosis due to bucket loads of steroids over 25 years) last Friday week. The first time I had it four years ago I had every side effect ever listed (or it certainly felt like it!)

Over the last three years the side effects are hardly apparent apart from feeling a bit knocked off and head-achey over about ten days. Anyone else found they've felt like this for a good few days after the infusion?

I had my lst one six months ago l had terrible shakes for the first night then head aches for what seemed ages l don't think I will have another because l am so scared in case l have to have a tooth out l have been told it could cause all sorts of problems, have you had any? I don't know how long it stays in the body c

Hello.

I had my first infusion earlier this year.

Was concerned about having a years worth all at once.

However, I didn't have any side effects worth mentioning.

I HAVE HAD THIS INFUSION FOR 3 YEARS , MY ARM DID SWELL UP AND WAS PAINFULL ONE YEAR, AND ALSO MY CHIN DID SWELL UP BUT WAS`NT PAINFUL. BEEN TOLD TO HAVE A BREAK FROM IT THIS YEAR AS IT CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE JAW.
