Please find details of the NRAS group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 14th September 2015

Southend on Sea NRAS Group

Thelma co-ordinates this NRAS group. Meetings take place bi-monthly at the Salvation Army Citadel

(opposite Morrisons), 146-148 London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2PF on a Tuesday.

September 15th 7:00pm – 8:30pm - Guest speaker: Madeline Whitlock, Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist

Three Counties NRAS Group

This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Meetings are open to anyone living with RA, JIA and inflammatory arthritis.

15th September - Will be discussing fatigue and looking at ways to manage it

Gwent NRAS Group

The Gwent NRAS group hold their meetings in different venues around Caerphilly. Each meeting has a guest speaker followed by discussion, exchange of information and then a social chat over a cuppa.

Wednesday 16th September - 7pm-9pm to be held at: Sainsbury's Cafe, Llewellyn Rd, Cwmbran, Gwent NP44 1UL - 'Bring your favourite gadget to help with daily living'

Salford NRAS Group

The Salford NRAS group meet throughout the year on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:00pm in the The Angel Centre, 1 St Philips Place, Salford, M3 6FA.

16th September - 'Basic drugs used for RA management' by Sarah Wills, Rheumatology Pharmacist, Salford Royal Hospital

Wrexham NRAS Group

2015 meetings will be held monthly on the third Wednesday at Tesco Wrexham, Crescent Road, Wrexham, LL13 8HF from 7:00-8:30pm. (Please make your way to the customer service desk where someone will direct you to the room).

16th September - Pharmacist Judy Henley will be giving a talk on the different RA medication

Yeovil NRAS Group

2015 meetings are held at: The Studio Ninesprings Clinic, 70 Hendford, Yeovil, Somerset BA20 1UR. Parking available at rear, side and front of the building. Tina and Elaine co-ordinate this group and meet on the third Wednesday of every other month from 7:30pm.

16th September - Healthwatch – National Consumer Champion in Health and Care

Blackpool NRAS Group

Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm on the third Thursday of alternate months.

17th September - Janice Booth, Nurse Practitioner: ‘Putting Research into Practise’

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
