You are invited to the Western Health and Social Care Trust &

NRAS Rheumatoid Arthritis Information Evening on:

Wednesday 21st October 2015 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Taking place in: Lecture Theatre 1, Trust HQ/MDEC Building Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Glenshane Road

Londonderry, BT47 6SB

Multi-storey car parking adjacent

The Rheumatoid Arthritis NRAS Group will be launched at a meeting on 21st October, with the support of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society and Altnagelvin Area Hospital’s rheumatology team. The meeting is open to anyone living with Rheumatoid or Inflammatory Arthritis as well as their family members, carers and health professionals. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend, you do not need to attend Altnagelvin Area Hospital for your treatment or be a member of NRAS.

NRAS is encouraging people with Rheumatoid or Inflammatory Arthritis living in the area to attend this meeting and find out more about their disease, local rheumatology services and the invaluable resources on offer from NRAS. There will be short presentations from the rheumatology team and an interactive question and answer session offering attendees the opportunity to ask questions of the expert health care professional panel.

Following this event we are hoping there will be regular NRAS group meetings. This local group will offer mutual support, information and the opportunity to contribute to the development of long term patient care within your local NHS and have regular interaction with your health care professionals.

We do hope you will be able to join us at this launch meeting and/or attend future meetings.

We look forward to welcoming you for registration and refreshments from 6.15pm on

Wednesday 21st October in the Lecture Theatre at Altnagelvin Area Hospital.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can ensure adequate seating and refreshments, or let us know if you wish us to add you to the mailing list for notices of future meetings if you can’t attend this one – call Kim or Gill on 01628 823 524 or email groups@nras.org.uk.
