I've never had a problem with tablets in my hand baggage and I've travelled world wide. Been to Portugal several times and other flights in Europe. I always try to get an isle seat for short haul so I Can stretch my legs out into the Isle. If I'm doing long haul I go on seat guru site and usually get a rear window two row seat. Which tend to have gaps in seats in front so you can stretc out.Take a sleeping tablet if I'm on a red eye and crash out. 😀 I've just booked for Florida on a 747 and got upper deck pod. More leg room and less people. Cost £25 to book in advance but well worth it for comfort. And you can always ask for upgrade when you check in. Worth a punt and sometimes works 😉
I had no bother taking meds to Portugal last year, kept in original packs and with prescription copy just in case but did not get asked. Really enjoyed the weather and pace of life, where abouts are you going to?
The flight to faro was not to bad but an isle seat is a good idea to get up and stretch a little.
Enjoy your holiday! Make sure you take hand gel and substitute salt solution for the runs or immodium if your allowed it!
Yes keep your pills with you, have enough extra in case of flight delays and have a prescription print out particularly if you are on strong meds for pain as I have had sniffer dogs be very interested in me lol! Just showed the prescription and it was fine ! X Hee Hee xx
Does anyone else take probiotics to deal with the gi problems that occur with the DMARDS?
I had no problem taking my syringes & Methotrexate in my hand luggage travelling from Victoria to Palm Springs in January. Good advice about having the prescription. Cheers Doreen
