I'm going to be in Asia for several months

Has anyone obtained Mxtr injection whilst In Thailand/India

I've been told I can only have 3 months prescription at a time here !

Sorry I can't help you but I do know that the HU Diabetes India site have a few people with arthritis who may be on MTX so maybe you could ask on there?

Are you taking out travel insurance? If so, why not ask them about how to get doctor's appointment and new prescription while you are out there? And to be safe you'll need to get a blood test too - as that's the main resason why a UK Doc won't give you more than 3 months supply. You'll probably need to take a letter from your own doc saying what your diagnosis and treatment is, but people have RA the world over so the meds are available.

I think you'll be fine. I live in Goa and have been to Thailand lots of times and in both countries medicine is treated as a business so if you are happy to pay you can get whatever you need. Make sure you know exactly what you need and bring your uk prescription with you just to be safe but you can buy most prescription medicines over the counter anyway.
