Hi everyone, should get my appointment this month for MRI of my hands, can anyone tell me how this is done? Do I have to go into the scanner completely? I have had 2 MRIs before, but not very keen on having to go through one again, feel very claustrophobic now when in confined spaces.
Thanks everyone,
Jan

Last time I had it done it was just my hands that went in (plus enough of my upper body to get them a bit down the tube). But a hugely uncomfortable position as trying to get hands flat and spread out when lying on my front was very awkward. Luckily it didn't take long!
Thanks Helixhelix, thought I might have to be on front, not very comfortable I suspect, I can't even sleep on my stomach, as for my arms and hands our in front being flat, I'm not sure I'll be able to do it. Will have to practice before hand. Hahaha. I'll just have to close my eyes and think of something nice. Don't make things easy do they!!!
