Writing problems

Hi. I'm struggling with writing because of elbow pain. Has anyone tried Ergosof pens and do they help?

I did try them for a while and found them good when my fingers were bad, but didn't find that they made any difference to my wrists. In the end I gave in and started using dragon speak software , so now I have a reason when I talk to myself. I do find that it's really good, but takes a while to train it to your own voice.

Thank you. I have used Dragon a bit at home, but I find it very time consuming which doesn't help the fatigue. It may be the last resort 'reasonable' adjustment to keep me teaching.

I have troubles as well. use felt tips as they do not require pressing on. Also a fountain pen is great for the same reasons. My RA/OA stops me pressing on the paper.

Thanks for responding. Felt tips or pilots are better than other ordinary pens but I might try one of the ones that you almost wear.

I use a 'ring-pen ultra' which means that I don't grip the pen at all if I don't want to. One problem is that they appear not to make them for left handers out there!

Does that go on a finger so you just guide it? I'll look into those. Thank you.

Yes but it is not like the ring ones where you have replace the inks things but it slides onto existing pens, pencils, paint brushes etc so long as they are not too thick.
