Shingles shot prior to CLL diagnosis.

I was diagnosed with stage 0 CLL about 8 months ago. I have seen a lot of posts about shingles. I received my Shingles shot about 3 years ago, so I assume I did not have CLL at the time. Any Opinions on whether this Is good or bad? Also are we more prone to getting shingles if we have CLL? Thanks, Meem

I'm sorry that you've been diagnosed with leukaemia, hope for your sake it stays at stage 0. However you might find the cancer forums on HU know more about the interactions with shingles than we do here?

Hiya Meem. I'm sorry to hear this but I'm not sure we'd be able to confidently answer your question here, this is the NRAS (National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society) site. There is a Healthunlocked CLL Support Association site, maybe they would be better placed to advise you, I'm sure they will be able to help if you ask on there.

Good luck.
