I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has got in touch and replied to my 'cry for help' yesterday! You answered in your droves! I wish I could hug each and every one of you! I am so grateful to you for your kind words of support and advice. I am feeling more positive now, and I am determined not to let it get me down. Thank you again xxxx

That's what so wonderful about forums like this & especially this forum, we've all been where you are just now & know how it feels even if we've had speedy referrals it's still life changing. I was fortunate & diagnosed just over a fortnight after going to my GP complaining of swollen & painful feet but I've also had the what seems like a long wait for biopsy results to find out if I had fallen foul to cancer. Even though I was anxious I know having RD helped, knowing I'd been there before & even though the diagnosis was positive I knew I could face whatever the result was for this latest testing situation. So oddly having the disease has helped me cope with other anguish making times. I admit though when I received the phone call I said I felt I could breathe again!
I hope your responses have lifted your spirit somewhat & prepared you for your first Rheumy appointment. Hope to see you around, let us know how things go.
Oh yes! Lol we r the best ha ha. And now that includes you as you have experience to offer on how it feels lol . Have a better day today
