Thank you but I have another week of worry first. Today I have my MIL going in for hopefully keyhole gall bladder removal. Hopefully she will be OK by next week to look after herself else my OH will have two invalids to look after. Fortunately he is quite capable having had plenty of practice over the past 16 years unlike my FIL who gets a bit 'lost'. There are two other brothers but the main help will fall to us.

Love the sketch - will have to have a look later and try to print it off to take with me - have to take kids to bus first.

Oh Jora, I thought of your painting last night, I could have fried an egg on both of my knees - ouch!

Mine are miraculously, suddenly far less swollen. I wanted them to be at their worst when I saw the orthopaedic surgeon. but I shouldn't wish another flare on myself!

I tend to take a few photos, as it seems that every time I get to see my Rhuemy everything is fine, where as the previous 6 months have been awful. Always the way isn't it?!

I'm pleased your inflammation has subsided Jo but isn't that just typical?! You do at least have photographic evidence to show the Ortho. Do you think this flare has been a reaction to what was ailing you on your trip to Seville? x
