NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 19th January 2015

Medway NRAS Group

This group meet at the Medway Health Staff Social Club at Medway Maritime Hospital, Windmill Road, Gillingham, Kent ME7 5NY bi-monthly on a Monday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

19th January - Gadget meeting: bring your favourite gadget or helpful hint that helps you in your day to day life

Swansea NRAS Group

Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9AR on a Monday from

7:30pm-9:00pm, please see meeting dates below. Car parking adjacent and full disabled access.

19th January - Helen Day, Rheumatology Pharmacist and Teacher Practitioner at Swansea University and Sister Lisa Howie, Clinical Nurse Specialist in Rheumatology: 'Medication for RA'

Southend on Sea NRAS Group

Thelma co-ordinates this NRAS group. Meetings take place bi-monthly at the Salvation Army Citadel (opposite Morrisons), 146-148 London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2PF on a Tuesday. Please see below for meeting times.

20th January 2:00pm – 3:30pm - Kim and Soraya from First 4 Feet in Hadleigh will be talking about how to care for your feet and the services they offer

Surrey NRAS Group

This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Meetings are open to anyone living with RA, JIA and inflammatory arthritis.

20th January - welcome back meeting - giving everyone an opportunity to welcome in the New Year and share experiences of the festive season

Isle of Wight NRAS Group

This group are meeting for coffee at The Bear Cafe, Honnor and Jeffrey Dalverton Garden Centre, Newport Road, Sandown PO36 9PJ on Wednesday 21st January 11am. All are welcome to join them.

Yeovil NRAS Group

The Yeovil NRAS group have a new meeting location! 2015 meetings are to be held at: The Studio Ninesprings Clinic, 70 Hendford, Yeovil, Somerset BA20 1UR. This group meets on the third Wednesday of every other month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

21st January - Representative from South Somerset Disability Forum

Wrexham NRAS Group

2015 meetings will be held monthly on the third Wednesday at Tesco Wrexham, Crescent Road, Wrexham, LL13 8HF from 7:00-8:30pm.

21st January - Rheumatology Specialist Nurses, Ruth and Jean from Wrexham Maelor Hospital will be explaining DAS scores and biologic drugs

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
