Swollen!

Woken up today not only full of a cold but my ankle is swollen up huge. I mean both of them are always swollen but this is like I've broken it or something painful to walk on but then that's normal every day! Don't recall bumping or hurting it anymore than usual!?! What next!

I'm sorry you are experiencing this - it sounds like RA to me. I recall my ankle doing this once a few year's ago and I was up four flights of stairs away from home on my own - it was a bit of a logistical nightmare. I got the swelling down once I was home by taking the full dose of Naproxen for a week and then my dose of MTX was raised too. I think in my case it was the tendon where all the swelling was - that's what the physio told me later anyhow but it was as though I'd fractured it and I had to use a wheelchair to get onto my plane home!

Thanks for reply twitchy gotta love ra for messing us up! I'm currently resting gonna dose myself up and snooze in hopes it will go down lol
