NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 24th November 2014
St Helens NRAS Group
The group meets every other month in Room 8 at St Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St Helens, WA10 1HP from 6.30pm to 8pm. Free car park at the back of the Town Hall and disabled access via a lift to the left of the front steps.
25th November - 'New Treatments for Rheumatoid Arthritis' by Dr. Adrian Clewes, Consultant Rheumatologist
Surrey NRAS Group
This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:30pm-9:30pm.
25th November - Health Event – promoting Self Care Week. The evening will include demonstrations from a yoga instructor, mini treatments from a Reiki practitioner, sample massages from New Horizons, there will be a podiatrist from Virgin Care attending as well as the local RA group from Reading, Arthritis Matters and lots, lots more!
Heart of England (Solihull) NRAS Group
This NRAS group meet at Broomfield Hall, Union Road, Solihull B91 3DH (The British Legion) from 6:45pm for prompt start at 7:00pm to 8:30pm. This is opposite the back entrance to Solihull Hospital.
26th November - Pre-Christmas social evening with raffle etc.
Salisbury NRAS Group
The group meets bi-monthly at Sarum College, The Close, Salisbury SP1 2EE (free parking available) from
6:30pm-8:30pm on a Wednesday.
26th November - Guest speaker, Hazel Morgan will talk on diet and RA
Wrexham NRAS Group
2014 meetings are held bi-monthly at Tesco Wrexham, Cresent Road, Wrexham, LL13 8HF from 7:00-8:30pm on a Wednesday.
26th November - Guest speaker, Sue Webster from Arthritis Care will be giving a talk on
'Pain Management and Arthritis Champions'
Plymouth NRAS Group
Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). The group meet in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 12-2pm.
27th November - Guest speaker, Andrew Pratt from Plymouth Community Healthcare will be giving a talk on 'Keeping and Maintaining Healthy Activity'
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
