Hi all is anyone else or has anyone ever stopped Tramadol I am just over 5 months of stopping taking it.
I am now only on 1 x 50 mg every other day down from 200 mg a day. Still getting sleepless nights sneezing and feeling worn out and tierd the day I don't have the tablet.
I'm thinking now of taking one tonight and flushing the rest down the loo.
If I am bad for a week so be it had enough of being on top one day and down the next.
Really would like to hear if I am on my own or has someone else has been there. Sorry moan but just down and think there must be another person that's been there.

So sorry to hear that you are having such a bad time. The way in which people react to coming off Tramadol is varied. It may be worth speaking to your GP about how you are feeling. Hope you get sorted soon and don't feel like you are moaning. If you need to talk to someone please feel free to call the helpline on:
Thank you Beverley I have been on it for 10 years I will take your advice. Rose
I've never taken this drug but I just want to wish you well. As Beverley-NRAS says, speak to your GP and get whatever support you possibly can. What you're doing is difficult, I just about know that much and from the sounds of it you are doing brilliantly! Get any help that's available - you deserve it, you are not moaning - your need for support is real and I think it's a great idea to post here regularly for moral support and encouragement .... and just to vent come to that! More power to your elbow victoriablue.
Thank you so much feeling a little better tonight but it's my pill night. Can't work out why it seems to take so long I suppose in a sort of way it's like an addiction. Thank you again.
Hi, it sounds as if you are on the final step at last! Of course it is an addiction, although not your fault. Makes your achievement even more impressive!
You should feel really proud of yourself, and if you think you can take that last step, go for it.
Don't underestimate how well you've done. I think you deserve a wee treat!!!
I was on a real downer this week as I have just started the one every other day Saturday night.
It's been such a journey taken a lot longer than I thought and the doctor said it was a big ask for me to think that's it packing up in such a short time.
You and all the others that have been there for me helped to keep me going.
Loads of others far worse position than me but when you get low you think it's only you
Thank you again big treat coming when the time comes. Rose x
