Well i was at Walsgrave hospital this morning re; my new knee. I don't know if you remember but five years ago another hospital replaced my knee and did it wrong. They put a straight joint in a bent leg and i caused me no end of trouble. I went to get a second opinion and the surgeon took one look at my knee and knew straight away what was wrong. Anyway two years ago he replaced it again for me. It was a big operation as there was a lot of damage to it. Today i went to see him and after an x-ray and he saw how much bend i had in the new knee he discharged me. He was very very pleased with his work as it was a big op to do. My recovery from it was nothing short of brilliant.
Now all i have to do is get this left ankle sorted out and i will be able to start walking again. If i am on too long it hurts like hell. This looks like it is going to take a good while to be finally mended.
Hope everyone is as well as they can be and i am sending you all a great big hug.xxx

Well done Sylvi's knee! Can't believe it's 2 years since it was redone but so glad for you that it's working. You just tell that foot to get better ASAP. Pollyx
