Has anyone had adverse breathing difficulties while taking Enbrel.

I stopped after 18 months. It caused severe breathing problems for me. Respiratory consultant had not seen them before.

No I was very lucky not to have any side effects of Enbrel and found it useful. I'm sorry you had a hard time with it and hope the respiratory consultant is helping you.

Thankfully symptoms reversed when meds stopped. Was a scary for first time on biologicals. Taking tocilizumab now. Just started reading comments. Nice to see so many with understanding of RA. Nasty illness those new to it need support like this

I had breathing difficulties still do while taking methotrexate and embrel, but have had tests and all that and nothing shows so still no further forward xx

I was very bad on Cimzia, couldn't dress myself without gasping for breath I finally convinced them it was Cimzia. I refused to take another injection. I was given steroids and the results in days was amazing. I had an allergic reaction to the Cimzia.
