Healthcare at Home. Anyone else having problems with them? Waited in 3 days last week. No show. Waiting in again today. Now out of Enbrel!!

Do you have a problem with them - please complain to the NHS and anyone else you can think of. They are abysmal. Never turn up with deliveries. Now have no injections left.

I've had problems with them. I was hoping that they have now finally sorted themselves out but no. I am currently sat here waiting for my delivery. I checked the delivery time last night on their web site, planned my day, then this morning I decided to check again and the delivery slot time was different. Good job I can change my plans. Will see what time it arrives.

Found this review site, I think they only got one star because you can't give them no stars. I just can't understand why somebody somewhere hasn't done something about them. They are playing with peoples lives, causing so much stress to people who are ill. It's not as if we can go elsewhere for our drugs. They've been having problems since end of last year.

My delivery has arrived!!!!! Only the fourth day of trying. Well that will last for four weeks. Then it will start all over again :-(

Mine's just arrived as well, all present and correct!!!!

Can you ask for two months supply? I've always had 8 injections delivered each time.

Thanks for the tip, have been in touch with the hospital and they are going to prescribe 8 injections from now on, and also going to look into HAH's antics!!

I did a review in April, I now only have one injection left. I can't believe I'm going to have to go through all that stress and failed deliveries again. I rather thought after all those complaints they may have got there act together, but it doesn't look like it :-(

i had a letter from them, just last week, explaining the problems they had had and apologising profusely. So I am rather disappointed to hear that you are having such trouble. It is just not good enough. Get on to your consultant and/or GP.

Absolutely disgraceful service from Health Care at Home they've let me run out of methotrexate by 3 weeks due to their total inability to provide the service the NHS are paying them to provide I'm now well over due vital meds , spent over 12 hours over the last week on hold still not been able to contact them , my local hospital pharmacy have been very helpful fighting my corner , took a day off work and the delivery never turned up , special delivery today arrived and half of the order is missing currently sat on the phone on hold again , 2 hours into the call and still on hold. I'm absolutely at my wits end with Health Care at Home had over 10 days of stress and aggravation all to get my meds, why on earth are Health Care at home constantly being allowed to provide such bad service to their patients and to the NHS , I'm sick and tired of having my health put at risk by not getting my vital medications.

I don't know if this is any help, but I used to be on Methotrexate injections and mine were prescribed by the hospital through my GP and dispensed by Boots. I never had any trouble with Boots getting hold of the injections. I got 8 injections per prescription. It is now that I am on Enbrel that I am having problems apparently you can only get them through HAH. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm on methotrexate injections and an anti TNF injection so stuck with Health Care at Home :-(

It's about time we were able to get these meds from the pharmacy or even to collect them from the hospital every couple of months. Anything would be better than the crap we've had to put up with from about September last year from this totally inefficient company. They should be fined for every non-delivery. If you do a credit check on them they are making a small fortune at patients expense!!
