Shoulder support

Anybody any experience with shoulder support and what do you find best? Walking seems to affect my shoulders (amongst many other joints) and wondered whether support would help. I also think posture is affected due to the pain and discomfort. Thanks. S

I haven't tried them as when I have RA pain and swelling in my shoulder joints it would for me be agony to put on a tight support.

Have you talked to your Rheumy physio for advice ? The best thing they did for me was shoulder injections which really helped the pain for a good few months, feel for you , one of the worst pains particularly when it spreads down arms or into the back. Hope you get help soon . Oh also the old fashioned rubs or brufen gel helped me and a neck pillow made lying a bit more comfy xx

Thanks. Did try one like a 'mini shrug' today which felt quite good on but not easy to get on and even worse to get off even with the help of my daughter. Never had much success with inflammatory gel rubs. Oh well back to the drawing board. S
