I get down but can't get out without having something to hold on to
I suspect this applies to many of us. Clemmie
Well coming on here is the start, knowing that your not alone helps. Hugs and best wishes x
Do you mean in the bath? I haven't had a bath in over a year. We rent and move a lot so have to make sure the houses we look at have a walk in shower.
Have you asked the physio for advice about quadriceps exercises?
Even cycling in the air might help!
I suggest you need to ask your rheumy or GP about getting a visit from an occupational therapist - they look at helping people in their daily loves at home not just to do with work. Or give the NRAS helpline a ring, they always have great ideas.
Hi judy63,
As helixhelix suggests, it would be worth asking your GP or rheumatologist to arrange an occupational therapist to do a home visit.
I have also put a link here to a company called Disabled Living Foundation as they may have some suggestions for you.
I was also wondering about the "kneeler" you can get for gardening and if that may help. Wonder whether that would be something that is suitable to be used in the home?
There looks like there are all sorts of ones at similar prices, here is just one example.
