I have recently moved from South East Kent where treatment for my rheumatoid etc has been second to none.
Hi Smith7 I can't talk about infusions etc as I haven't got that far yet but I go to the rheumatology dept at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and so far have them found to be excellent. I was only diagnosed last July so it is early days for me but I have already started a biological drug (Enbrel) due to having 'failed' methotrexate and hydroxycholoroquine (I take sulphasalazine as well). The consultants and nurses are great there, they do seem to listen and there is a rheumatology helpline at Addenbrookes that you have access to once you're on their radar. Addenbrookes has been good for me so far. Hope that helps.
Thank you lucylocket42 your reply has reassured me. I hope the enbrel helps you. Thanks again
