Trouble getting hydroxy

Hello
All I can suggest is the chemist should have credited you with the tablets and you would pick them up the next day.or so. as the NHS is paying for that complete script. You to are being short changed if you pay for your script.
Some chemists will actually anticipate you coming in for your supply so He will know what you need
If you are still having problems discuss with your RA Nurse, they may be able to sort something out for you,
If problems persist you could try a larger chemist who may have a more consistent supplier.
Good Luck

Touch wood, have had no problems to date
None what so ever, always get them 10mins after handing the script in.
No problems. If you r using a local chemist and have your meds from them all the time i sould possibly change to another one because something does not sound right.xx
Hi like you I take Hydroxy but have not had any trouble getting it from the chemist, although the last lot came in a different packaging.
Good Luck x
I was told by my chemist last month that there was a shortage of Hydroxy but they found another supplier and made up the scrip within a couple of days. As said earlier, your chemist should make up the remainder as soon as they can.
I've not had a problem thankfully. I do use an independent pharmacy though. The reason I mention that is that, when I worked at a GP surgery, we often found that the chains (Boots, Lloyds, etc) were restricted in which suppliers they used and which brands they could stock. We'd regularly get patients coming back to us asking for an alternative to prescribed items because they'd been told theirs was unavailable but when we rang the pharmacy I use we'd find that wasn't the case at all. If your pharmacy is a chain it might be worth shopping around to see if there's another in your area that's better able to supply your meds x
