I have had RH for 2 years now. I was diagnosed when I had bunion surgery. I thought it was the bunions that were making so much pain.

My problem is now my Humira has stopped working in my wrists. I am in a lot of pain. What other treatments are out there. I am really scared to go in and try something else. I went on the Humira kicking and screaming because I was scared of the side effects and I don't like prednisone as I am scared of that too.

There are about 20 different drugs that can be used for RA, and many of them work in slightly different ways so there's a good chance if one stops working for you then they'll be something else that will work. Speak to your rheumy team about the problems you're having and ask them about different biologic drugs. there's a good booklet on these drugs on the NRAS website nras.org.uk so have a look at it. I have tried rituximab embrel and now about to start humira i was diagnosed 2 yrs ago also x we have to keep trying and hope eventually we will get the eight one xxx keep smiling x
