When first diagnosed with RA my left knee was badly affected, along with hands, feet, elbows and shoulders. I am now in remission, thank goodness, but my knee feels loose. I have an automatic car and when I drive around a corner it moves, it moves at other times as well, just feels so loose. Anyone any ideas?

No experience of this myself. Do you think physio would help to strengthen the muscles around the knee a bit more?
I never thought of that - what a good idea - I will give them a call. Thanks.
My left knee was badly swollen when I was first diagnosed 12 years ago. Lots of fluid was drained off and my knee was left feeling very weak. As Earthwitch suggested, I was given physio exercises to do which really helped. Still have intermittent pain and occasionally it "lets me down" but much better than it was. Best of luck
I agree about physio, my left knee was wobbly, only increased its stability after exercises to strengthen the tendons & muscles
