Well, tomorrow at 12.30 I have an interview in an elderly care home (local), as an activities coordinator. Right up my street, but been unwell for so long & not in work, that confidence has indeed been dented!
Got the 'what ifs' going on, what if I put myself back months . Etc etc!

Go for it, you might find it gives you back some confidence and helps you get that motivation back.
I have worked in a couple of nursing homes and the events co ordinators were fab. For those people not able to really leave their own rooms, they would do fab one on one stuff like crafts, memory diaries etc. For those particular residents it was the highlight of their week. You could get some great job satisfaction which has got to have a positive effect on anyone.
The fact you got an interview demonstrates they are interested in you, so that should give you confidence that they think you can do the job, you know yourself you can. As for putting yourself back months, I'm sure you wouldn't have applied if you didn't believe you we're ready to return to work, so go in with a smile on your face and I'm sure you'll wow them!! Look how well you did as a late entrant to strictly, you have the talent, now go for it:-)) best of luck and let us know how you get on xx
I think you will be ideal for the job, as you will be really able to relate to those who aren't very mobile. My Mum-in-law loves her activities coordinator.
