Two o'clock club is open for service....

Morning every one,as you know i am in a big flare and i am suffering.Well my doctor has upped the good old Steroids to 30mgs and i am not a happy bunny,but if it helps me get mobile again i would take arsenic if i thought it would help. Anyway tomorrow morning i will take the dose he has told me to take and then by the end of my holiday i will start to wean myself off them.

Well the Two o'clock club is open, so if anyone wants to join the club and talk absolute rubbish with me then i am your lady.xxx

Hi Sylvi, I'm the first one here!! But it must be later than your 1:00am by now...must be 3:42am!

Do you remember a couple days ago, there was on FB a picture of a white porch covered with purple flowers, and I suggested it would be such a great place to have a cup of coffee and a cxhat. You hit like, but I think We lost you.

Allana, Debbie Miller, my friend Marilyn on this side of the pond, then the conversation continued, past coffeetime, into cocktail time with Allanah and her vodka, then Marilyn said she couldn't drive home, so we had asn over night camp out and movie night , followed by more coffee in the morning.

That was so fun, reaching across an ocean, having coffee on that beautiful porch. Allana said you must have dozed off

It is 3.52am here in good old blighty and i am still awake. It has been a while since i have been down here this early darling. i vaguely remember the porch,so yes i must have been asleep.xxx

You might like one of my family's tradition s during the Winter Holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas abd New Year's...We "doctor" our coffee with Bailey's Irish Creme Mawvelous way to start a cold winter day. Or a chilly Autumn one.

Sorry ladies, but now it's my turn to get to bed. Bridget is harassing me! She tolerates just so much of this at bedtime. We'll soon get to bed, and if I have the tv on, she'll lay down at the foot of the bed, and eventually she'll come get right in my face and yell at me to shut that thing off!!!

Actually I was restless all night, restless legs, couldn't lay still, got up 3Xs, took Vicodin, finally slept till 6:40am. It's my back giving me fits! I know, I have been overdoing the gardening tweeking, with deadheading old blossoms and pruning, and weeding eternally and watering in between rainfall which hasn't been enough. I figure it will all settle by October when I start bringing plants inside, and sacrificing the ones I can't get in the door!

I hope you got a few more hours , Sweet Sylvi, once that steroid kicks in, it may interfere with sleeping!

I didn't sleep at all Loretta. I haven't had any sleep at all since i got up at two this morning. The good news my darling huby took me out and brought me my birthday present.He brought a shaver and some perfume. So despite having a bad day i had a lovely surprise.xxx

Oh mads i wish i was, but i have only just surfaced. I didn't get any sleep at all yesterday and by 10.30pm i was absolutely out of it. I am now on my second day of steroids and i am hoping to see some improvement in the pain and swelling. I hate steroids and i have been on them for so long now i wonder if i will ever get off them. I hope you got back to sleep and are rested this morning.Love Sylvi.xxx

Thank you Treesha,my birthday was the 25th of last month,but i only got my present yesterday. I feel brighter this morning don't know how long for though. We will see.xxx
