Red, raised bumps on skin?

Hi there does anyone have problems with skin side effects? I keep getting red marks on my face and torso sometimes they look like a small blotchy patch and some times they look like raised bumps. I had bloods done on friday and haven't heard anything so assuming all is well.

Hi, just read your blog and i too get these skin itches and blobs, i take 17.5mg methxte maybe it could be connected?

If a widespread rash is present please seek medical advice as it can be necessary to stop taking the drug

Thanks summer its not widespread just small patches. I also keep getting red spots on my tongue and in my mouth but I am at the dentist tomorrow so hopefully he will let me know what's going on. Xxx

I've been getting raised red lumps, not painful, associated with taking the methotrexate. I've shown them to various health professionals, but the opinion seems to be that it's a "fixed drug eruption". That is is comes up as a reaction to the extra amount of drug you take each week.

But get it checked out.

Hi there, my chest kept on getting a rash on it and I was taken off of methotrexate. I was then put on Sulfasalazine and after a few weeks the rash came back again. I was taken off of sulfa until the rash had disappeared and within a week of taking sulfa tablets again the rash is back again!! Boo hoo, does anybody know if rashes actually are part of Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Thanks but as luck would have it the red spots on my tongue have disappeared overnight! Dentist may still know what I'm talking about, hopefully. Otherwise I'm going to look like a fool! Xxxx
