Well we made good time and we got home around 2.30pm. I am trying to do a little bit and then sit for a bit. My head is willing, but the body well thats another question altogether. If any of you want to go to devon i can heartingly reccomend combe martin and the surrounding area. e stayed at the fowlers site at sandaway beachand they looked after us very well. We had what they called the bungalow and it was near the shop and the club house which was fine for me and the ool was right next to us as well.
The rhs site at rosemoor is a must see as it is so disabled friendly, it was the highlight of our holiday. The second time we went we hired a scooter from them called a tramper and i went every where bob went which for me was nice and to be able to feel normal for a change. The staff there was fab and the food was very good. You had three choices and there was desert as well if you wanted it.
We did get to minehead, but we didn't go on the steam train as the weather had closed in and we wouldn't have seen anything. I did buy handbags while i was away, well i had to didn't i. We did have some days by the pool and we caught the sun as well, which was a bonus. The cream teas are to die for and yes i had one or two. Now i think i will have to get back into my diet big time.

So pleased you had a good time...we enjoyed the site a few years back when the girls were young....I would like to go back.....Mmmmm and theres nothing like a devon cream tea....(Im almost dribbling!!...tho thats way off my menu now as Ive been diagosed with a big ole Gallstone!!....just my luck!!)
Lovely to hear you both had a good time. Them cream teas are the business xxx
Steam train takes me back a few years, cream teas are for walking treats. When my daughter was four the only way to get her to go for a five mile hike over the Dorset cliffs was the promise of a cream tea at the end of it, bless her she did it and the return journey.
