Hi Shirl, well done. It really isn't that bad is it, probably nicer than taking loads of horrible tablets. Remember to drink loads of water to help with any side effects. Are you doing your next one by yourself at home. I found that a bit scary but was a lot more relaxed and quicker with the 3rd one. Tracy xxx
Yes i will be doing the next one on my own, Thanks for the advice on drinking a lot of water, i am also taking folic acid, so i'm hoping the side affect will be less now i am on the injection, Well that what my rheumy nurse told me anyway, I took my sister with me and she was more worried than me:))) Take Care xx
Thanks for your messages, i sure will be Allanah to think last September when i was first diagnosed i never knew anything, but after joining this site and taking a lot of advice from everyone i am sure getting a little expert, Thanks again, sending hugs XXx
Hi Shirley glad you didn't find the experience as bad as you anticipated and hope you dont experience the side effects you did on the oral, I am finding the oral mthx ok and apart from a little nausea had no other side effects
Glad it went well for you and hope you soon feel good effects. Seems that it works well for lots of people on here. I'm still on mtx tablets and would be terrified about injecting so well done you.
