My rhuemy wants to advance me to mtx but he said I have to get over my " infection" first. Has anyone had the longer type of shingles along with RA,fibro, or Polymyalgia rhuematica???? It's considered nerve damage, so I really wonder if it's still the shingles virus?

Just so say, I'm so sorry about this. I dread getting shingles, and had a horrible episode with crazy itching that drove me mad at night. I found that ice packs helped a bit. But it wasnt shingles. So all I can send is sympathy.
