I have been up all night again. I don't know if my chest infection is starting to break as i feel awful. I have had only about two hours sleep. I have been on and off the loo as well. My shoulder feels like i have been hit with a bat. I ache like hell,my nose feels blocked. I'm almost certain this is breaking,i hope.
Roll on the spring i say and hopefully by then my knee will be sorted as well.

just woken up after having a sleep. If it is the antibiotics then i know now,it has eased of since i came back to bed.
I think i will stay here the rest of the day and rest. Don't feel up to anything else. Have canceled my hair for tomorrow,will rebook next week when i'm feeling better.

Take care Sylvi - I have heard from a few I know with Fibro that this is what they feel like so maybe its the fibro more than the RA that's running you down and giving you such bad sleep? TTx
Thanks for that tilda its worth knowing. I've just spoken to my rheumy and told her that i hadn't taken my mtx as i'm on antibiotics, she was quite concerned that i can't shift this infection. My consultant is away, but she says that as soon as he is back she is going to speak to him. Does mtx have side effects that could cause me to be ill like this.

Poor Sylvie. I have awful insomnia myself, but have resorted to pills for the next week to try and get habit back, started last night and slept great and got up early.
Hopefully, when spring comes, you will feel much better, its been a miserable haul since Xmas has'nt it.

Really sorry you're feeling so poorly still.How long have you been off the MTX? Could your shoulders be bad because you've not had any MTX for a few weeks?
I really hope your consultant calls you soon- if not ask to speak to his.her registrar instead .This has been going on too long

Well everybody i took 3 amitryptaline last night and i had a better nights sleep. I'm still very weezy and some of my joints ache. I don't take mtx when i'm on antibiotics. My rheumy nurse seems quite concerned that i'm not getting better. She is going to speak to my consultant when he gets back. Sumer has put some info onto tags for me to read aand i will have a look and see what it says. Thank you everyone for your concern,it is very heartwarming to have so many of you who care.
